Airport Location and Services
The airport is situated 9kms from Nadi town centre, on the west coast of Viti Levu, the largest of the Fiji Islands. Fiji–Nadi International Airport is considered the gateway to the Fiji Islands, and is the largest airport facility in the region. It is one of the main airline hubs in the entire South Pacific, well serviced by international carriers. From here, direct flights connect all over the Pacific Rim, including New Zealand and Australia, Tokyo, Honolulu and Los Angeles. Inter-island connections are also available to domestic airports situated throughout the Fiji Islands. A single terminal serves all flights.

Getting to and from Fiji
If driving from the airport, the town of Nadi is 9kms away via a well sign-posted road. Suva, the capital city, is 144kms to the southeast along the main coast road which encircles the island. Lautoka, the island’s other major town, is about 20kms north. Air-conditioned Sunset Express buses run twice a day between Lautoka and Suva, stopping at the airport at 9:45 and 15:45. The cost of the journey is about €0.50; travel time to Suva is 3½ hours. Many island hotels and guest houses provide shuttle transport as well. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and charge about €5 for the trip into Nadi.

Amenities – Nadi International Airport
A bank in the arrivals concourse is open 24 hours a day; an ATM is also nearby. Prior to security, shops include a newsagent and a convenience store. Two large duty-free shops are located beyond the security checkpoint. A restaurant and café serve light meals, sandwiches and fresh Fijian coffee. Showers are available in the terminal for freshening up. Many tour operators and travel guides have counters in the terminal, and will provide information on local attractions.

As there is only one terminal, all flights are centralised in the one area.

A café and restaurant are available in the terminal and serve sandwiches and fresh Fijian coffee.
To freshen up, you may take advantage of the showers available in the terminal. There is also a luggage storage facility in the terminal.
Shopping and money – Nadi International Airport
Shopping facilities are found prior to security, with newsagents and convenience stores available. There are two large duty free shops after security.
There is a 24-hour ATM available in the terminal, as well as an ANZ bank in the Arrivals Concourse which is open 24-hours a day.

There is a Fiji Visitor Bureau Kiosk located in the main terminal building. There are also many tour operators in the airport, providing information on local and regional attractions.

By taxi
Taxis are available outside the terminal.
By car
The airport is located only 8 kms northeast of town, and is clearly sign-posted from the town centre. Suva is also clearly signposted from the airport, and is 144 kms away.
By bus
There is no special airport bus, however local buses are available. Sunset Express ( Tel 720266 in Nadi, 322811 in Suva) has airconditioned buses running twice a day between Lautoka and Suva, with stops at Nadi Airport and Sigatoka. These usually leave Nadi Airport daily at 09:45 and 15:45, with arrival in Suva at 13:15 and 19:15. Many hotels and guesthouses also provide transport; however, this needs to be pre-arranged.
